eff Goldblum has released a new version of “If I Only Had a Brain,” featuring Cynthia Erivo.

The track revisits the classic song from The Wizard of Oz, originally performed by Ray Bolger and Judy Garland. This version leans into a more playful dynamic, with Erivo trading lines with Goldblum, who also performs on piano. They’re backed by his longtime group, The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra.

The release comes shortly after Goldblum’s return as the Wizard in Wicked: For Good, and is part of his upcoming album Night Blooms, due out June 5, 2026. The record continues his focus on jazz standards and collaborations, building on the momentum of his previous album Still Blooming, which reached the Top 10 and held the No. 1 spot on jazz charts.

While Goldblum is widely known for his film work, his music career has been developing alongside it for years. His time working on a large-scale musical project seems to have pushed that further, bringing more attention to his work as a pianist and performer.

He and the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra are also preparing to take the new material on the road. The Night Blooms tour will run through spring and summer 2026, with shows across the U.S. and internationally.

Some of the larger performances include dates at Sydney Opera House with The Metropolitan Orchestra, and Royal Albert Hall, where they’ll be joined by a full orchestra. Additional stops in the U.K. include Wolverhampton, Glasgow, and Manchester.

The live show is expected to center on the new album, blending jazz, storytelling, and Goldblum’s onstage presence, with guest appearances planned along the way.
