Letter from the Editor

W

hen this site first launched, it grew naturally out of a love for music. We’ve celebrated albums, shared concert reviews, and highlighted the artists whose songs have carried us through. Music will always remain at the heart of what we do.

Over time, it has become clear that the stories we tell about survival, creativity, resilience, and community extend beyond music. Songs may be the soundtrack, but they are not the only source of light.

That is why we are opening our doors wider. Alongside our music coverage, you will start seeing more features on activists, artists, writers, and other creatives whose work shapes the world around us. We will also be publishing more personal essays, opinion pieces, and profiles of people who inspire change in their communities.

This is not a departure from music. We will still be focusing heavily on our love of music. It is an expansion, a recognition that the same energy that fuels a song can also live in a painting, a protest, a poem, or a lived story.

I hope you will stay with us as we grow. The heart of this site has always been connection, and there are so many more voices worth connecting with.

Thank you and we hope you are enjoying our content.

Yours in rebellion,

Annie Marie
