Big Ears Festival 2026 Announces Lineup

ig Ears returns to downtown Knoxville, Tennessee, March 26–29, 2026, with a lineup that brings together visionaries from across genres.

Laurie Anderson will present The State of Love, revisit five decades of her music with Sexmob, and appear in a duo set with John Zorn. Guitarist Mary Halvorson returns with her quartet Canis Major, following her acclaimed album About Ghosts.

 

Robert Plant makes his Big Ears debut with Saving Grace, the ensemble formed during lockdown whose debut album arrives this fall. Vocalist Cécile McLorin Salvant, recently named Female Vocalist of the Year in the DownBeat Critics Poll, brings songs from her new release Oh Snap.

 

Caroline Shaw rejoins Sō Percussion and Ringdown, fresh off their Grammy win for Rectangles and Circumstance.
